JOB PURPOSE: To create, maintain and distribute tech-pack in the G-drive.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Updates yields from marking department with actualized data Meets frequently with Design Team, pattern maker and production managers to discuss projects and resolve problems pertaining the technical package Prepares, rewrites and edits copy to improve readability of the tech-pack Verifies trims, fabric and measurements using standard reference sources Is responsible for updating tech-pack
WORK ACTIVITIES: Verifies sources or documentation for Tech-pack preparation Informs everybody involved in production of any changes to the garment and tech-pack Uses computers to enter, access or retrieve date Ensures correct grammar, punctuation or spelling Uses word processing or desktop publishing software Edits written material Consults with managerial or supervisory personnel
QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: AA degree in Fashion Design or trade school
SKILLS REQUIRED: Active listening Critical thinking Proficient in Windows, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, Outlook Judgment and decision making Mathematics Monitoring Quality control analysis Reading comprehension Speaking Time management Troubleshooting Writing Persuasion
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: Communications and media Computers and electronics Customer and personal service English language
